Current Update - October 21, 2026
A rich set of updates arrives in this PDX release, encompassing new features, resolved issues, planned channel enhancements, and a preview of what’s coming next.
This update includes new features, error corrections, planned channel updates, and future update preview.
New Features
The new functionality is described below:
-
Improved Amazon Channel Product History Entries for products submitted to Amazon channels.
-
Improved support for Amazon Seller Shipping Templates for Amazon seller accounts
Improved Amazon Channel Product History Entries
Amazon Channel product history entries have been improved for products submitted to Amazon. This feature will be valid in all Amazon channels across Seller and Vendor and all Markets (US, UK, DE, etc.)
Now, product history for the Amazon Channel will present structured entries rather than text blocks. Each entry will include a heading, an explanation of the event, resolution steps when issues are present, and separate tables for entries and warnings.
Submission results are now distinguished from both subsequent Amazon status checks and validation. The first submission of a product will register if the product submitted from PDX matches an existing product in Amazon as well as if any product issues already existed in Amazon.
Issue tables contain the Amazon code; the affected attribute; the Amazon message, listing, and catalog values when Amazon returned them; and whether suppressed an attribute, listing or search, including if that action is exempt. Submission events will also include the Amazon submission ID. A list of Amazon documented issue codes is available at this link: https://developer-docs.amazon/sp-api/docs/listings-items-api-issues-troubleshooting.
The below screenshot is an example of a successful new submission where no existing match was found.
Below is a screenshot of a subsequent status update from Amazon with an issue and relevant listing and catalog values.
A successful validation where a match was found is illustrated below.
Previously, Unresolved issues on a previous Amazon listing can interfere with the processing of a later submission. When a product first matches to an Amazon listing or ASIN, PDX now records that match as a product history entry that includes any pre-existing issues on the Amazon item. This surfaces the issues before the submission completes and before Amazon’s status update arrives.
Finally, below is a screenshot of the first submission of a product from PDX. In this example, the submission is successful, but the matched Amazon listing already contains pre-existing issues.
Now, Amazon channel users identify if Amazon rejected a submission, reported issues after inspecting the listing, or already had issues on the item before it was sent from PDX. Product history for other channels is unchanged.
Improved support for Amazon Seller Shipping Templates
Previously, Amazon Seller submissions that contained the shipping template name instead of the Amazon Template Key were rejected. The necessary workaround was entering the raw Amazon Template Key in the Shipping Template attribute.
With this release, the Shipping Template attribute in PDX includes an LOV of all valid Shipping Templates from the associated Amazon Seller account. Each entry is now shown with the template name and its key. Selecting an entry sends the key to Amazon. A value not included in the account's list is rejected in PDX before submission.
Below is a screenshot example from Amazon Seller Central that contains the configured shipping template.
The screenshot below displays the corresponding configured shipping template in PDX.
Note: The list is created when the seller account is authenticated from PDX and refreshes only when that account is authenticated again. Products that already store a raw template key must be updated to reflect the value of the matching list entry.
The below screenshot provides an example of how to re-authenticate and update the Amazon Template LOV from PDX.
Error Corrections
Error corrections are described below.
Improved Attribute Search in Channel Management
Previously, using the attribute search in Channel Management for 1WorldSync was problematic if an attribute contained a context assignment. Only attributes without a context were listed until a context was selected. Now, when no context is selected, all attributes are listed, including context-specific attributes.
Note: Selecting a context still limits the list to the attributes for that context.
The below screenshot is an example of a successful search of attributes that contain a context — the attributes can be found without selecting a specific context.
Customer-facing benefits of the improved search include the following:
-
Users can search for and find any attribute without prior knowledge of the context
-
Search returns all matching attributes regardless of context assignment
-
Saved configurations, context assignments, and/or validations remain unchanged.
Minor Error Corrections
-
Fixed an issue in the 1WorldSync channel ensuring that if an account-specific status is 'Rejected', the overall status also shows 'Rejected'.
-
Fixed a caching issue that led to mappings periodically not being visible in the Mapping screen.
-
Fixed an issue preventing type locked Master data attributes from being added to the list of searchable attributes.
-
Fixed an issue preventing the composite attribute grid from loading when accessed through the channel PDP.
-
Fixed an issue causing downloaded output templates to be named with extra characters.
-
Fixed an issue causing the column order arranged by a user to be ignored when products were exported from Master data.
-
Fixed an issue that, in some cases, could cause the last product row of a channel Excel import to be skipped without any error so that changes in that row were not imported.
Planned Channel Updates
The planned or completed channel updates are listed below:
1WorldSync Channel Update
The 1WorldSync Production channel will be updated to the 3.1.37 GDSN release on November 14, 2026.
The exact content of the 1WorldSync release will be announced by 1WorldSync in the link below:

Brandbank Channels Update
The Brandbank channels in PDX will be updated to match the Brandbank November 2026 release on November 16, 2026.
For details on the changes, refer to the Brandbank documentation: https://integrationhub.brandbank.com/documentation/data-model-releases (login is required).
Amazon Channels Update: More Business Rules in Product Grid
The release of Amazon Business Rules in Product Grid was announced in the October 1, 2026 and September 14, 2026 update notes. Following customer feedback and internal validation efforts, additional Amazon validation rules have been implemented and several issues have been addressed. Now, across all Amazon Channel categories, PDX will capture more Amazon Validation rules prior to submission.
Future Update Preview
Below is a preview of features currently in development and expected to become available in upcoming releases. Timing may vary as these capabilities are refined and validated.
Split of Channel Product Statuses
The channel product status will be split into two distinct statuses:
-
Product Status — reflects the state of the current product record in PDX
-
Last Submission Status — reflects the state of the most recent submission of the product record (if applicable)
Channel Health and Submission Readiness
The Channel Dashboard will be revised to provide a better overview of channel health and highlight scenarios that can help users prioritize their efforts.
Amazon Channel Listing Updates: Support for Retrieve
In an upcoming release, the Amazon Channel will support the ability to manually retrieve data and any preexisting issues from a matching Amazon listing.
This new retrieval support can be used to pull preexisting data from Amazon into PDX as well as troubleshoot specific attribute errors.
This capability is currently in limited customer testing.
Amazon Channel Listing Updates: Support for Patch
The Amazon Channel will support patch updates for existing Amazon listings, sending only attribute values that have changed.
These smaller targeted updates are expected to reduce the number of full product validation Amazon performs during import. Based on customer observations, this change is expected to result in fewer irrelevant validation issues being returned from Amazon.
New products will continue to be created as full listings.
This capability is currently in limited customer testing.
Next Update
The next update to PDX is scheduled for November 11, 2026.
