2026 Update Notes

Links to update by date are below:

May 11, 2026

This release elevates PDX capabilities through refined channel operations, expanded features, and focused error resolutions. It also offers a glimpse of upcoming developments while reinforcing the platform's core architecture for improved performance and reliability.

This update includes new features, error corrections, planned channel updates, and future update preview.

New Features

The new functionality is described below:

Amazon Channel Improvements

With this release, we are continuing to make improvements to the Amazon Vendor and Seller channel. Focus has been on improving the handling of special cases:

  • Multiple ASIN and SKU Handling

We are now improving the handling of cases where a single product (single UPC / EAN / GTIN) in PDX matches multiple ASINs or even SKUs on the Amazon side. This is obtained by providing detailed error messages to help clients resolve these duplication as in the example below:

Errors like these can either be handled by assigning correct 'Merchant Suggested ASIN' and 'Vendor SKU' values or by reaching out to Amazon Support to get help cleaning up duplicates.

  • External Product ID Uniqueness

With this release, PDX will surface errors in the UI and on submission if multiple products have the same External Product ID and External Product ID Type combination.

    • On submission

    • In product details

  • External Product ID Validation

With this release, PDX will surface errors in the UI, and upon submission, if products have invalid External Product IDs as defined by their External Product ID Type. Examples are below.

1WorldSync Channel: Submission of Packaging Hierarchies

As part of an error correction in the 1WorldSync channel, we have adjusted the submission of packaging hierarchies.

Previously, if a submission included a product and if there was an error on the product, this would prevent the erroneous product and its lower levels in the packaging hierarchy (including those with no errors) from being submitted.

After this change, PDX will allow the submission of the lowest level (the Each); although a submission may include products with errors on a higher level in a packaging hierarchy, any Eaches with no errors will be submitted.

This feature has been available to pilot customers in limited availability for some time but is now generally available.

PDX UI Refresh

The PDX UI will receive a number of updates regarding the look and feel of the application, such as colors, fonts, spacing, and more.

Driven by the interest in Community Idea 0582, the refreshed UI will also provide environment highlighting, making it easier for users to distinguish between production clients and clients on lower life-cycle environments.

Digital Catalog Improvements

A number of changes have been introduced to the Digital Catalog to make the UI more appealing to external parties browsing and improve fetching data, such as the following:

  • Update to the UI look and feel

  • UI Localization (supported languages include English, French, German, Spanish and Italian)

  • Introduction of configurable search facets

  • Above-the-fold section added to the product details page

Reach out to your Stibo Systems representative if you are interested in trying out the Digital Catalog.

Note: The improvements described will not be available on the day of the production update, as the last migration efforts on the production environment are expected to delay the release approximately two days.

Consistent Attribute Ordering in Channel Excel Export

Attribute ordering in the channel export flow is now consistent across the export experience and the downloaded export file, aligning with the PDX UI ordering. Attributes are sorted by displaySequence and then by attribute name as a tiebreaker, ensuring stable ordering even when sequences are equal or missing. This removes the previously 'random' column order and makes offline Excel work much easier to maintain.

Error Corrections

Amazon DE Channel

We fixed an issue where Amazon DE submissions would be returned due to invalid values in the List of Value (LOV) entries. The Amazon DE now uses German marketplace-specific LOV values while keeping attribute names in English, ensuring correct validation for locale-sensitive fields (such as unit-related attributes).

Amazon Status Updates

Some customers have observed an issue in the Amazon channels where products did not receive an updated status and/or an ASIN after submission. This issue has now been fixed, and we have extended the time we poll Amazon for status updates after submission to 48 hours.

Products that have remained in the 'Submitted' state can get a proper status update and ASIN simply by being resubmitted.

Channel Context Missing

The channel context (e.g., selected market or receiver) was missing during the setup of the auto-assignment rules. This has been re-introduced in the form of a dropdown, which also allows quick navigation to rules established in other parts of the channel hierarchy.

Planned Channel Updates

The planned channel updates are listed below:

New Features

The new functionality is described below:

Amazon Channels: Changes to the Handling of Non-editable Attributes

In the January 14, 2026, release, we introduced improvements to the handling of non-editable attributes in the Amazon Channels.

The current release introduces one adjustment to this: With this release, non-editable attributes will only appear as disabled fields if the product also has a status of Accepted.

We have seen cases where Amazon expects PDX to update non-editable attribute, and this adjustment makes this possible.

Channel View: Responsive Action Toolbar

We have improved the channel view action toolbar so that it responsively adapts to available space, keeping actions accessible and user-friendly across screen sizes.

PDX continues to evolve with this update, delivering improved channel functionality and new features. The release includes a preview of planned innovations and incorporates system-level optimizations that enhance performance and stability.

This update includes new features, planned channel updates, and future update preview.

New Features

The new functionality is described below:

Email Notifications Now Enabled by Default

Email notifications for new Accepted, Rejected, Returned, and Retrieved products are now enabled by default for all PDX users, reducing time to market. Users can always opt out of such email notifications in their PDX account settings. For more information on setting notifications, refer to the Notifications section of the Profile and Account Settings topic.

Channel Account Deletion

Support for deleting channel accounts directly in the PDX UI has been added. The delete action is now available whenever an account has no assigned products. Also provided is clear guidance to notify the user when deletion is not allowed.

Improved Amazon Validation for More Reliable Publishing

The Amazon channels provide users the ability to validate Amazon products against Amazon's validation service. This function includes a validation message in PDX on the product summary page.

Users of the Amazon channels can receive information on errors and/or data issues without updating or creating products on the Amazon side.

With this release, the Validation process now mirrors real submissions, providing users with clear insight into which products already exist in Amazon. Additionally, the process of reviewing the data that was validated has been simplified.

  • When users validate a product, PDX now uses the same product data logic as that used during an actual submission.

  • If a product in PDX matches an existing Amazon product (for example via EAN/UPC/GTIN), the match is now detected and reflected during validation.

In the above screenshot, the text 'Validation found a match with existing ASIN: B0719KP7G9 via ean: 8859242000109' indicates that on the Amazon side an existing product matched the EAN of the product in PDX: 8859242000109. The product in Amazon has ASIN B0719KP7G9.

  • Attributes that are configured as 'Attributes that should not be updated after initial publish' are now pulled from Amazon and included in the validation.

  • The exact data sent to Amazon during validation is now recorded as any other submitted data in the submission log, from where it can be downloaded.

New Management Experience for Auto Categorization

PDX has introduced a new Auto Categorization experience, allowing users to understand, manage, and maintain auto categorization rules more easily.

Auto Categorization Overview Improvements

A new dashboard and clearer rule pages have been introduced, improving the viewibility and manageability of channel, category, and scheduled rules.

New Rule Creation Dialog

Rules are now created using a simple dialog where you name the rule and add conditions.

Updated Rule Lists

Rule lists now support bulk actions and provide a consistent way to inspect and edit rule details.

Below is a screenshot of the channel with the new display name applied.

While identifiers can not be changed after the account creation process, the display name can be updated as needed.

Filtering by Global Attributes Now Available

Attributes can now be filtered by their level, making it easy to focus directly on global attributes when a user is working at the global or lower level. This helps users quickly identify missing global values, avoids confusion with market‑specific attributes that already have values, and simplifies validation across multiple markets and languages.

This release delivers new features alongside planned channel updates and a preview of upcoming capabilities. Behind the scenes, we've also implemented infrastructure enhancements to improve system performance, reliability, and stability.

This update includes new features, planned channel updates, and future update preview.

New Features

The new functionality is described below:

Amazon Channels: Improved Handling of Non-editable Attributes

In the Amazon Vendor and Seller channels, some attributes are designated as 'non-editable attributes,' meaning Amazon does not allow these attributes to be changed once values have been established. Such attributes often contain fundamental information such as External Product ID Type, External Product ID, Brand Name, etc. The list of 'non-editable attributes' differs by market and category. Subsequent submissions from PDX that attempt to change these attributes typically lead to error messages from Amazon, warning users they are trying to change a value that is non-editable.

Display Changes

Previously, non-editable attributes were not visually distinguished in PDX. This release adds visual indicators to identify these attributes. Once a product has been submitted to Amazon and assigned an ASIN, non-editable attributes will appear as disabled fields in the Grid View:

Retrieval and Submission Changes

When products are submitted, Amazon will compare the incoming products and potentially match incoming products with existing listings, and in the case of a match, update the existing listing with information from the new submission.

Non-editable attributes can cause challenges because Amazon now requires that submitted values must match the existing values of the target product. Mismatches can result in error messages from Amazon, such as the one below:

Amazon Seller Central offers more information on these (and other) error codes: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G200692330.

To provide a streamlined approach to working with non-editable attributes, PDX has retrieved the values of the non-editable attributes from the matched product. The values are made visible in the retrieved data layer:

Mapped data or manual channel value edits override the retrieved data. Until now, aligning mapped or manual data with the data expected by Amazon has been a manual task. This release introduces a configuration option: PDX can prevent updates to an attribute value in Amazon after the initial publish.

The configuration is performed in Channel Management under the Amazon Channel: Select an attribute and move it to the right-hand side using the blue arrow, then save the change.

When products are submitted, all attributes selected using this method will use the Amazon value. Any mapped or manually added values are ignored.

Submission Comment Removed from Direct Channels

Previously, users were provided with the option to add a 'Submission comment' on the submission dialog. However, adding such a comment has no effect in Direct Channels. With this release, the option has been removed in all direct channels.

The option remains available in Configured Channels as the comment can be made available to the receiver via an email, for example.

Improvements to Channel Data Enrichment Flow

The channel enrichment flow (defined as the export of product data to Excel from a given channel to provide additional production information and finally import the updated Excel file directly back to the same PDX channel) has received two improvements.

  • LOV validations have been included in the Excel file exported from the channel, ensuring that attribute values added to the file will be compliant with the channel requirements upon import.

  • Brands can now add publicly accessible URLs to flat asset attributes in the Excel file. The assets linked are automatically downloaded and added to the appropriate products when imported.

The screenshot below provides an example:

Planned Channel Updates

The planned channel updates are listed below:

1WorldSync Channel Update

The following update was made to the 1WorldSync Channels in PDX on December 22, 2025.

Previously, the below composite attributes were market specific:

  • marketingMessage

  • tradeItemFeatureBenefit

After the update, these attributes have also become receiver specific and will consequently now also appear with a blue R in the mapping screen as in the below screenshot:

This action was taken in part to match the 1WorldSync IM 8.68 December release.

The remaining parts of IM 8.68 will be introduced to the 1WorldSync Channels in PDX when testing has been completed.

Brandbank Channels Update

The Brandbank channels in PDX are scheduled to be updated to match the Brandbank Release 20 on February 23, 2026.

The exact content of the Brandbank release will be announced by NBB at:  https://integrationhub.brandbank.com/documentation/data-model-releases (login is required).

Future Update Preview

The following will be available in a future update:

Support for Additional Product Statuses in Email Notifications

Additional product statuses will be added to the daily email subscriptions for product statuses. Users will be able to subscribe to daily emails notifying them of new products accepted or retrieved from STEP for further enrichment.

Additionally, email notifications for new Accepted, Rejected, Returned, and Retrieved products will be enabled by default for all PDX users, reducing time to market. Users will be able to opt out of such email notifications in their PDX account settings if they do not wish to receive those notifications.
