Current Update - May 28, 2026
A substantial set of improvements arrives with this PDX release, encompassing optimized channel functionality, expanded features, and resolved issues. The update previews upcoming innovations and incorporates foundational refinements that enhance system performance and reliability. PDX is also now part of the Stibo Systems Online Help Documentation repository.
This update includes documentation updates, new features, error corrections, planned channel updates, and future update preview.
Documentation Updates
Updates to online documentation are described below:
- Updated search filters for online documentation produce more focused search filtering and improved navigation features.
- PDX now in Online Help Documentation: Product Document Exchange (PDX) is now part of Stibo Systems Online Documentation.
-
The left navigation has been reorganized to displays all of Stibo Systems' documentation.
Updated search filters for online documentation
The filters for the online documentation page are now updated to help users better refine their search and locate topics of interest more efficiently. By default, all topics are searched; however, users can now filter their search by:
-
All Topics
-
Current Update Notes
-
All Update Notes
-
Artificial Intelligence
-
Customer Experience Data Cloud (CXDC)
-
Product Experience Data Cloud (PXDC)
-
New UI
-
Product Data Exchange (PDX) and Enhanced Content
-
CXDC Solution Enablement
-
PXDC Automotive Solution Enablement
-
PXDC Solution Enablement
When a filter is applied, the search bar displays the filter name to indicate that only a subset of topics is available in the search results. This allows users to focus their search by topic type, such as Update Notes or PDX, helping them find answers faster and reduce time lost to unproductive searching.
The updated documentation toolbar now remains visible while scrolling and includes the following options:
- Displays the previous topic in the left navigation panel.
- Displays the next topic in the left navigation panel.
- When viewing a topic returned from a search result, toggles search term highlights off or back on.
- Saves the current topic as a file or sends it to a printer.
A new 'Back to top' button displays once a topic is scrolled, allowing users to quickly return to the beginning of the topic.
Together, these updates reduce the time users spend searching for documentation and make it easier to stay oriented within topics. For more information, refer to the Welcome to Online Help
PDX now in Online Help Documentation
The Product Data Exchange (PDX) documentation is now part of Stibo Systems Online Help Documentation. PDX is a dedicated solution that allows manufacturers (suppliers) and brand owners (vendors) to share data with retailers, distributors, data pools, and content service providers, no matter what data format or data requirements are needed.
With the addition of the PDX documentation, all Stibo Systems' documentation is now unified on a single, publicly accessible site. This makes it easier for customers to navigate between solutions and platforms while gaining a complete view of the full Stibo Systems offerings.
Left navigation and the landing page is now updated
The left navigation on the Stibo Systems public documentation landing page is now reorganized to better display all of Stibo Systems' documentation. This streamlined structure enables users to quickly and easily access the desired set of documentation needed while reducing distractions from unrelated content.
The updated navigation also provides a clearer overview of the full documentation offering, helping users to more easily discover and navigate between different Stibo Systems offerings.
New Features
The new functionality is described below:
-
Improved product submission control per account allows product assignment to accounts (depending on channel configuration), which represents the (sub) organization supplying the product.
-
Enhanced flexibility for Configured Channels Excel output templates will enable greater flexibility when working with attribute metadata.
-
Multi-language import and export are extended to support additional use cases revolving around the handling of Excel files.
-
Indexation performance improved: The time between the import of product updates and subsequent reflection in the appropriate channels has been improved.
-
Suppliers overview in Channel Portal: Channel Portal now includes a suppliers overview for onboarding channels, giving retailer admins quick visibility into supplier activity and adoption
-
Grid view: prioritize family products by default lets you open Grid view directly on Family products (instead of Regular), reducing unnecessary tab switching.
Improved product submission control per account
The PDX Channel UI allows product assignment to accounts (depending on channel configuration), which represents the (sub) organization supplying the product:
In 'Profile and Account settings,' user permissions can be set at the channel account level.
This release introduces an improvement to the submission workflow that strengthens control over which products can be submitted per channel account:
-
Submissions now respect user permissions at the channel account level.
-
Products tied to accounts a user does not have access to are automatically excluded from submission.
-
The excluded products are clearly identified during validation, so users can easily understand why they are not included.
For example, the user in the above screenshot has access only to AudioZone Shop; submitting products to AudioZone Store II will not be possible and will be reported as validation errors upon attempted submission:
Enhanced flexibility for Configured channels Excel output templates
An enhancement to Excel output templates in Configured Channels will enable greater flexibility when working with attribute metadata.
Attribute metadata can be created under Channels management for configured channels:
The below screenshots are examples of custom metadata keys and values on an attribute.
-
Example One
-
Example Two
Excel templates can now reference custom attribute metadata defined using the following format:
<AttributeID>.METADATA.<Metadata Key>
Metadata values are then dynamically included in Excel output at the product level when submitted:
This enhancement expands the options available when configuring Excel outputs, supporting a broader range of customer-specific formatting requirements.
Multi-language import and export
With the next production Update, the import and export capabilities of the PDX platform are extended to support additional use cases revolving around the handling of Excel files.
Users are now able to:
-
Import Excel files with multiple sheets containing data for specific languages
-
Export Excel files from PDX master data containing multiple languages
-
Export Excel files from PDX channels containing multiple languages
-
Import Excel files with multi-language data enrichments directly to the appropriate channel
As demonstrated in the screenshot below, sheets can be mapped to the appropriate language layers on import:
Additionally, users can choose the appropriate languages to export from Excel.
Indexation performance improved
The time between the import of product updates and subsequent reflection in the appropriate channels has been improved. Specifically, the time before updates are reflected on receivers in Configured Channels has been reduced significantly. This in turn reduces the total import time.
Suppliers overview in Channel Portal
Channel Portal now includes a suppliers overview for onboarding channels, giving retailer admins quick visibility into supplier activity and adoption — including submission activity stats, attribute mapping coverage, and distribution of product statuses in the channel across suppliers with the ability to drill into more detail.
The below screenshot is an example of the overview within the channel view.
Grid view: prioritize family products by default
New user setting in Profile and account settings lets you open Grid view directly on Family products (instead of Regular), reducing unnecessary tab switching.
The below screenshot is an example of the new grid view option.
Error Corrections
Error corrections are described below.
Amazon Channels attribute names and LOVs
As a follow-up to the recent changes to the Amazon DE channels described in the May 11 release notes, we have aligned the language behavior across all Amazon channels.
All Amazon channels now use marketplace-specific LOV values while keeping attribute names in English, ensuring correct validation for locale-sensitive fields (such as unit-related attributes).
Planned Channel Updates
The planned channel updates are listed below:
Amazon Channels Rename
Amazon channel names have been slightly modified. The term 'SP-API' has been removed from channel names. Example is below:
-
Old name: Amazon SP-API BE Vendor
-
New name: Amazon BE Vendor
