Current Update - August 19, 2026

New features and resolved issues arrive in this PDX release, along with planned updates to channel functionality.

This update includes new features, error corrections, and planned channel updates.

New Features

The new functionality is described below:

Export Suppliers List in Channel Portal

Onboarding channel administrators can now export selected suppliers in the Channel Portal, including those details in the below screenshot.

Selected suppliers and the associated details will download into a spreadsheet.

Detailed instructions on supplier download is available in the Exporting Suppliers section of the Supplier Overview topic.

Multi-language Support Added

This update begins the migration of all PDX clients to new search indices, which will make it possible for users to:

  • Search in all master data and channel languages

  • Identify products now flagged as updated based on changes in languages other than the default language (often EN)

  • Utilize auto-submission rules that can now be based on the evaluation of language-specific attribution.

Pre-production

All PDX Pre-production clients have been migrated to the new search index, and associated multi-language functionalities have been enabled.

Production

The migration of the first production clients will begin on August 19, 2026, and all clients are expected to be migrated by August 28, 2026. No downtime is expected for this migration.

Post-migration Details

A transition period will exist where the update tracking (and, consequently, the scheduled submissions) will be inconsistent. Specifically, products that have been submitted post the index migration will receive update flags when changes are applied to any language, while products that have not been submitted will only be flagged as updated — if the changes are applied to the default language layer (as tracking and submissions currently perform). Essentially, both the new and the old update mechanisms will be in use during the transition period.

Attributes already flagged as searchable will remain searchable post migration. However attributes used for matching as part of match-based import should be manually flagged as searchable for successful match-based imports moving forward.

Once all products have been (re)submitted, PDX will consistently track changes in all the languages, exclusively using the new index and update mechanism, and correctly include all updated products as part of a scheduled submission setup, effectively completing the transition period of the given client / account.

Setup

To fully leverage the multi-language support capabilities, a user from each client should:

  1. Define the master data attributes that should be searchable (maximum of 100)

  2. Define the channel attributes that should be searchable (maximum of 100)

  3. Resubmit previously submitted products

Instructions for defining master data attributes that should be searchable are available in the Searchable Attributes section of the Master Settings topic. Instructions for defining channel attributes that should be searchable are available in the Channel Attributes topic. Configured channel attributes can be set to searchable when created or changed to searchable after creation. Refer to the Attributes Tab Page documentation topic for more information.

A total of 100 master data attributes can be flagged as searchable. Once saved, the attributes will be added to the index. Depending on the amount of data to process, this operation may be time-consuming. Users can track the process through the Process Overview. Additional information on the Process Overview tool is available in the Process Overview topic.
