BGP Execution Management
The available BGP execution mechanisms are:
-
'One Queue' is the recommended mechanism to determine the order in which background processes are handled. Waiting BGPs are prioritized for execution based on BGP priority, but also based on the user, process type, and creation time, in accordance with a round-robin scheduling algorithm. For details, refer to the BGP One Queue topic.
-
'Multiple Queues' is the default legacy mechanism which uses specified queues for background processes. For details, refer to the BGP Legacy Multiple Queues topic.
Note: Deleting a user who is responsible for a BGP will result in errors. For more information, refer to the Working with Users topic.
