Importing Data as the First Step in Syndication
Before product information can be distributed to retailers and other recipients, it must first be available in PDX. Importing product data into PDX Master Data is the first step in the syndication process, providing the foundation for product enrichment, channel assignment, validation, and distribution.
Organizations use different approaches to manage product information. For some, source product data is maintained in STEP, while others use ERP systems, custom business applications, or spreadsheets. Regardless of the source, product information must be imported into PDX before it can participate in downstream syndication workflows.
