DaaS Easy Setup Wizard
The DaaS Easy Setup wizard can automatically create a setup group, a gateway integration endpoint, and an event processor for publishing data to Data as a Service (DaaS).
Note: If the DaaS Easy Setup wizard has already been run, before running it again, you must delete the previously created DaaS gateway integration endpoint and the DaaS event processor.
Refer to the Publishing to Data as a Service topic for additional details and manual configuration of the steps of this wizard.
Prerequisites
To successfully complete the DaaS Easy Setup wizard:

Verify that a DaaS instance is provisioned for the environment.
Configuration
Follow these steps for the DaaS Easy Setup wizard:

In workbench, switch to the Approved workspace.

From the Maintain menu, click DaaS Easy Setup.
Note: DaaS Easy Setup performs a one-time publish action. Automatic publishing based on events requires additional configuration of the DaaS event processor, as defined in the Configure the DaaS Event Processor Manually section of the Publishing to Data as a Service topic and the EP - Schedule Event Processor topic in the System Setup documentation.

On the Configure Data Publishing to DaaS step:

For the Setup Group parameter:

Click the selector button (
) to choose an existing setup group. -
Leave the parameter empty to create a new root setup group.

For the User parameter, click the selector button (
) to choose the user that will run the event processor. -
Click the 'Next' button.

On the Publish Sample Data step:

Use Browse or Search to select the sample data to publish to DaaS and click the right arrow button (
) to move them to the right panel. -
Check the applicable checkboxes to publish additional data:

Include children
-
Include linked assets
-
Include all attribute definitions
-
Include linked products
-
Include referenced assets
-

Click the 'Next' button.

On the Select Object Types step, use Browse or Search to select the object types to be published to DaaS and click the right arrow button (
) to move them to the right panel. Click the 'Next' button.Note: The default selection includes object types derived from the sample data selection. The selection is automatically applied to the DaaS event processor's configured triggering object types.

On the Select Publishing Context step, from the dropdown select a single context. The data from the selected context is automatically applied to the DaaS event processor's assortment configuration.
Note: Publishing data from multiple contexts requires additional configuration of the DaaS event processor and manual publishing, as defined in the DaaS Basics section of the Publishing to Data as a Service topic and the EP - Schedule Event Processor topic in the System Setup documentation..

Click the 'Finish' button to create a new service or update an existing schema.

After data has been published to DaaS, use the Create DaaS Service Wizard to define how consumers can access the published data.
