Rather than requiring each customer to build an AI integration from the ground up, ProductGen AI packages the most commonly needed capabilities into a managed service that works within the broader STEP experience.
What is ProductGen AI?
ProductGen AI connects STEP to generative AI services, making their capabilities available to customers working with product data every day. In practice, users rely on ProductGen AI for four broad categories of work:

How It Works
ProductGen AI operates as a pipeline in which prompts define behavior, data flows through to the AI service, and results are returned to STEP. Understanding this flow helps both when designing new use cases and when troubleshooting results.
