Mapping is required to sync data from external systems with STEP data. Mapping functions are comparable for inbound (Import Manager and IIEPs) and outbound (Export Manager and OIEPs) tools, however there are two user interfaces.
Data mapping for import allows you to determine where the incoming data belongs in STEP. For information about the available inbound options, see Inbound Map Data Options
