This section lists current and future planned changes to platform and software support.
The changes in platform and software support from version 2024.4 to 2025.1 are listed below. Customer action may be required. Users should also read the 2025.1 Update Guide along with this topic prior to updating.
There are two additional topics (License and Component Lifecycle and Deprecations and Lifecycle Changes) that users should be familiar with that cover deprecations, other lifecycle changes, etc.

Removal of functionality

AutoCare will discontinue ASCII format downloads by May 7, 2025, and introduce JSON file support. Refer to the Data Exchange Enhancements and Changes update note for more information.

Use of reflection in JavaScript business rules to be removed in the 2025.3 update. Refer to the General Enhancements and Changes update note for more details.
Server and client support
- Support for InDesign CC 2025 (20.0) will be added in 2025.2
- Support for InDesign CC 2023 (18.0) will end with the 2025.2 update.

Customers should update as soon as possible to the latest version of the Stibo Systems Enterprise Platform (STEP). Contact Stibo Systems Support if you have questions and/or to receive help and guidance on how to update to a supported version.
Software errors reported for the versions shown above may be rejected once support ends. Issues in progress for those updates will be closed on the end-of-life (EOL) date. It is not possible to extend the support services for desupported versions.
