Smartsheets in Web UI

Smartsheets can be imported and exported directly from the Supplier Web UI. Before the required Web UI components can be configured, however, a Smartsheet template must have already been created, as well as data export and import configurations.

Note: In order to configure Smartsheet components in the Supplier Web UI, the user must be a member of a supplier item Web UI user group.

Three components are available for handling Smartsheets in the Supplier Web UI:

• Smartsheet Export Widget - Used to download Smartsheet template files. For more information, see the Smartsheet Export Widget section of the Web User Interfaces documentation here.
• Smartsheet Export Action - Used to export data from products in a workflow so that it can be edited in a Smartsheet. For more information, see the Smartsheet Export Action section of the Web User Interfaces documentation here.
• Smartsheet Import Action - Used to import modified or newly created product data into STEP. For more information, see the Smartsheet Import Action section of the Web User Interfaces documentation here.
